Synopsis
Growing up in the Amazon rainforest, Autumn made the rarest of friends – a lost jaguar cub named Hope. When a tragic event forces Autumn to leave Hope behind and head to the unknown of New York, she dreams for years of returning to the rainforest and her friend. At 14 years old and accustomed to city life, Autumn learns that her childhood village is under threat from animal traffickers, and decides that she must return to the Amazon to be with her beloved jaguar. Anja (Emily Bett Rickards), Autumn’s charmingly clumsy biology teacher, tries unsuccessfully to talk her out of this ill-advised plan. Together with Anja, Autumn embarks on a journey to reunite with Hope and save her from those who want to destroy the rainforest and its wildlife.
