Miami, 1991. With his bloodthirsty urges no longer to be ignored, young Dexter Morgan must learn to channel his inner darkness as he goes from student to vengeful serial killer under the tutelage of his father, Harry. Christian Slater is older than James Remar when Dexter first appeared (2006). It was followed by Dexter: Resurrection (2025). Dexter is one of my favorite TV shows of all time and one of the few shows I can watch multiple times without getting bored. It’s hard to put into words how much I loved the original show. The only thing that wasn’t great was the ending. While the ending was pretty bad, it still doesn’t take away from how good the show was overall. So I was really looking forward to Dexter: Original Sin and it didn’t disappoint. Patrick Gibson, who plays young Dexter Morgan, absolutely kills it, as does the rest of the cast.
